Types of SEO

1. ON-Page SEO.

2. OFF-Page SEO.

In ON-Page SEO work done inside the page.

In OFF-Page SEO work done outside the page. This SEO is to get backlinks from other websites or make our website as a backlink to other websites.

1. ON-Page SEO:

    URL: Uniform Research Locator.

Permalink: SEO friendly URL. Means our SEO must include in our website URL.

Rules  :

It must have your website or post related keyword.

It must have least num of slashes.

Title Tag:

To get our page title as a url for that particular page we have to give title tag.

To do that we have to edit the HTML code, replace the below code that is title code

Meta Description Tag:

Meta description tag is to give particular post or website to get pubish details about website. Description should be separate for each page in our website.

To add Meta Description     Go to blogger > settings > basic > description > edit and make enable yes. But don’t write any description here, because it can be applied to each page in the website. We have to write different descriptions for different pages. By making enable yes here, it shows an additional option in each and every post or page i.e. ‘Search preference’.

   Go to blogger  >  new post  >  settings  > search preference  >  write description here in this box.

Meta keywords Tag:

Keywords must be 50 to 100. For blogger we can give keywords in HTML code. Go to html code body section write below code.

<meta name=”keywords-“content- “ here you can write keywords ”/>. Here meta keywords must be separated by ‘,’. But each website should have only one meta keyword tag.

How to download non-copy righted images from Google:

Go to google  >  search your images > click on usage rights > select option other than ‘non filtered by license’. Here we can edit images size and modal too.

Another way to get non copyrighted images. Go to google search > type Royalty free images > select all option >  choose webite “pixabay.com”. here you can get non copyrighted images.

Image ALT text Tag:

ALT tag means alternate text tag. It must contain keyword only. It assign for images only, select image and go to properties > give any title and give keyword in ALT tag then ok.

Font declaration Tag:

Font declaration means make some words bolt, italic and underline, because google consider them as keywords. Then our SEO looks like natural.

Keyword Density:

We should maintain min 1 to 3% off keywords in our content, first twenty words must contain maximum keywords.

Avoid things:

Avoid flash images, avoid some type of ads like pop ads, sticky ads and header ads. These all can irritate the visitors.

Inner links:

Maintain inner links in your website, but don’t use broken links like which shows error message.

How to add inner links:

There is a software or website. www.linkwithin.com and register and add url of your website and set width, here width means num of inner links we wanted add. When registration finish go to your blog layout and check there is a gadget.

Submit Website to Google:

If we cannot add our website to Google search engine, Google cannot read our website.

Go to google search > type ‘ add url to google’> opens a window is ‘search console’ > enter url of your website, and submit.

We have to add our website to every search engine, for that there are some websites/software like www.diggza.com and www.freewebsubmission.com go and give our website url and select all search engines and submit. To know how many pages added to search engine, search like ‘site:website name’.

How to add blogger site to Google:

Blogger  >  settings  >  search preferences  >  google search console  >  add a property  >  add website url and submit. Then another window appears on that page go to Alternate methods > html blog > copy the link and paste it in your blog html code below the header code and verify.

Add Site Map to Google:

Site map is a html/xml file, it includes the address of each of the webpage in the site, when such files are submitted to search engines webmaster tool, all the pages added gradually just with a click. You need to create a sitemap for your website before you submit the sitemap.

How to add blogger sitemap to Google:

Go to Google search  > type sitemap generator for blogger  >  xml sitemap for blogger > choose any site paste url  > generate sitemap. From generated code copy the link after our blogger link. Then go to search console again >  go to crawl > sitemaps  >  add test sitemap  >  paste your copied link here and then submit.

Here default range to submit pages in Google is up to 500, if we want to add more than 500 we have to edit link by replacing 1 with 501 and 500 with how many you wanted to add more.

Google analytics tool:

It shows the user interactions with website and analytical status of website.

Go to google search  >  google analytical  >  sign up with gmail.

Fill all the details with website name and accept all the terms and conditions and submit. They issue a tracking id, copy the code and paste it in your blogger HTML code. You will get a mail regarding conformation, click on that link, select website and check status. It includes sessions, users, page views, avg duration, balance rate and new sessions.

**Back links:

Back links are nothing but the links of your website WebPages in other websites, it can be either in the form of a text links or images.

Syntax:
